Finding your Feet ~ Toddler Photography in Central London
It's always lovely to revisit a family and to see how much the little ones have grown, especially when they have reached another milestone. Well done Charlie! Here are some favourites...

Wednesday, July 13, 2011Friday, June 24, 2011Saturday, June 04, 20115x4 ~ just for fun! I used to do lots of 5x4 photography. Because of the size of the film the quality is beautiful, although the kind of thing I used to photograph wasn't always terribly exciting (think fridges, dictaphones etc.....!). I've always wanted to have a go at large format portraits so just for fun I photographed my daughter and her friend. It really is a different experience to how I usually work, it's definitely not quick and I do look slightly ridiculous under a big black hood but I really enjoyed it and would love to do some more. Hopefully at least some of my daughter although I think she's a bit camera weary now. There may be bribery involved... Thursday, June 02, 2011Tuesday, May 17, 2011Monday, May 09, 2011There's a Snake in my Boots ~ Toddler Photography in Herts Toddlers are huge fun to photograph. They are just too little to worry about the camera so it's usually a lot of play (Woody was a bit of a favourite in this session), a bit of singing and letting them do their own thing. I almost always only use black and white for portraits but sometimes the colours are so soft and lovely that I will shoot a few in colour. I don't do it often but it really suited this little one......here are some favourites.
Wednesday, April 20, 2011Cake! It's great to get to do something a bit different every now and then and this was a really fun shoot to do. My background is as a product photographer so it was lovely to put that hat on again and especially when the product is as pretty as this one. There's lots more to do as I'll be photographing a whole range for the lovely ladies at Kazoo Cakes for their new website. Tuesday, March 22, 2011Monday, February 14, 2011Thursday, January 13, 2011Beautiful, beautiful Queensberry! I love these albums, I did from the very first time I saw them. They are such a gorgeous way to present photographs and it's was very lovely to receive this one in the post just before Christmas. The family loved it too! This is the photographically printed version but it's also available in pagemount which has prints and mats mounted on the page. Either way, they are beyond beautiful. I'm slowly working on having an album done with all the photos I have of my little girl but there's so many of them......I may need a few!
Monday, December 27, 2010Six Teens and a Spaniel ~ Birthday Party Photography in Hertfordshire I got to shoot a 13th Birthday party earlier this year (which I have finally got around to blogging). I was a little daunted at first by the thought of 6 teenagers but they were an absolute pleasure and great fun to photograph, especially when lovely Millie the spaniel joined in. There was also time for some portraits of the birthday girl. When I shoot portraits I like to use natural light where possible as there's really nothing as beautiful as soft window light. Katie was a natural in front of the camera (and Millie too).......here's some of my favourites.
